Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable BOH (Back of House) Team Member to join our dynamic restaurant team. This role is essential in ensuring smooth kitchen operations and delivering high-quality food service. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, safety, and teamwork, contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our guests. Prior restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
Duties
- Assist with food preparation and meal assembly in accordance with recipes and safety standards
- Support cooking processes, including plating and portioning of dishes
- Handle food safely, ensuring proper storage, sanitation, and cleanliness in the kitchen
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, utensils, and workstations
- Follow food safety guidelines and hygiene standards at all times
- Assist front-of-house staff as needed with food delivery or setup tasks
- Ensure timely preparation of orders to meet service standards
- Support inventory management by organizing supplies and notifying management of stock needs
Skills
- Experience in food service, food handling, or restaurant environments preferred
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper sanitation procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Basic cooking skills and familiarity with meal preparation techniques
- Attention to detail to ensure quality and consistency in food presentation
