- Oversee relationships with exchanges, data vendors, and third-party providers to expand and diversify data coverage
- Evaluate new data sources (alternative data, ESG, private markets, etc.) for strategic fit and commercial viability
- Negotiate data licensing terms in partnership with Legal and Business Development
- Guide the architecture of data pipelines, storage, and APIs to support scalability, low-latency delivery, and high availability
- Work closely with Engineering leadership on infrastructure decisions (databases, streaming systems, caching layers) that affect data delivery performance
- Champion best practices in data security, redundancy, and disaster recovery
- Act as the primary data authority for Product teams building new endpoints, tools, or datasets
- Support Sales and Customer Success with data-related client escalations, especially around accuracy or coverage gaps
- Provide data-driven insights to leadership to inform pricing, packaging, and go-to-market strategy
- 10+ years of experience in data management, data engineering, or analytics leadership roles, with at least 5 years in a senior/executive capacity
