Position Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Service Coordinator to manage the day-to-day operations of our service department. This role acts as the bridge between customers, technicians, and parts personnel to ensure efficient workflow, accurate scheduling, and outstanding customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Schedule and coordinate service appointments for units including ATVs, side-by-sides, and watercraft
- Greet customers and accurately document service concerns and repair requests
- Create and manage repair orders in the dealership management system
- Communicate repair timelines, estimates, and updates to customers
- Order and verify parts availability in collaboration with the parts department
- Assist advisor with warranty claims are documented and submitted properly
- Maintain service records and follow up with customers post-repair
- Support the Service Manager in meeting departmental revenue and performance goals
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in service coordination, dealership operations, or related role
- Experience in power sports, automotive, marine, or recreational vehicle industries preferred
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities
- Proficiency with dealership management software (experience with, Lightspeed, or similar systems is a plus)
- Basic understanding of mechanical terminology and service processes
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
