Dealership Operations Manager

About the Role
We are looking for an organized, dependable, and proactive Dealership Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of our growing used car dealership. This role focuses on coordinating vehicle reconditioning, parts, licensing, inventory, and dealership operations to ensure vehicles move efficiently from arrival to customer delivery.
You will work closely with ownership and coordinate the sales, service, detailing, and lot departments to keep daily operations running smoothly.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the dealership.
- Coordinate communication between the sales, service, detailing, and lot departments.
- Manage the vehicle reconditioning process from arrival to front-line ready.
- Coordinate and prioritize repairs with technicians.
- Order OEM and aftermarket parts and follow up on deliveries.
- Receive, organize, and distribute parts to technicians.
- Coordinate the daily workflow of the shop.
- Process vehicle licensing and registration paperwork. Training will be provided.
- Ensure licensing documents are completed accurately and on time.
- Post completed vehicles to the dealership website and online marketplaces.
- Verify vehicle photos, pricing, descriptions, and listing information before publishing.
- Coordinate vehicle movements between storage lots, repair facilities, detailing, and the dealership.
- Assign and manage daily priorities for lot attendants.
- Handle customer concerns and operational issues professionally.
- Ensure sold vehicles are prepared and delivered on time.
- Maintain accurate vehicle files and dealership records.
- Identify and resolve operational bottlenecks.
- Prepare a brief end-of-day update for management.
Qualifications
- Automotive dealership experience preferred.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience ordering automotive parts is an asset.
- Experience with vehicle licensing is an asset. Training will be provided.
- Comfortable using dealership software and online vehicle listing platforms.
- Valid Ontario G Driver's Licence with a clean driving record.

Work Schedule
- Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (30-minute unpaid lunch break)
- Saturday: 4-hour shift (typically 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM). An 8-hour Saturday shift may be required based on business needs.
Compensation
- Starting wage: $25.00 per hour.
- Overtime opportunities may be available based on business needs for employees who consistently demonstrate reliability, initiative, and strong performance.
