Edmonton Bouncy Castle is looking for energetic, reliable, and safety-conscious individuals to join our team as Inflatable Event Attendants. If you enjoy working with children, being outdoors, and helping create fun experiences at community events, festivals, school functions, corporate events, and private parties, we'd love to hear from you.
This is a part-time casual, on-call position with flexible scheduling. Most shifts occur on evenings, weekends, and holidays during our busy season.
Responsibilities
- Supervise inflatable attractions to ensure safe operation at all times
- Enforce safety rules, age restrictions, and capacity limits
- Assist children entering and exiting inflatables safely
- Monitor participant behavior and intervene when unsafe activities occur
- Communicate clearly and professionally with parents, guests, and event organizers
- Perform basic safety inspections before and during operation
- Keep event areas clean, organized, and free of hazards
- Report incidents, injuries, or equipment concerns immediately
- Assist with crowd management and guest flow during busy events
- Help with basic setup, teardown, and transportation of equipment when required
- Represent Edmonton Bouncy Castle in a professional and friendly manner
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must have reliable transportation to various event locations throughout Edmonton and surrounding areas
- Available to work evenings, weekends, and occasional holidays
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Friendly, outgoing, and comfortable interacting with children and families
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Ability to remain alert and attentive throughout events
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with children, camps, sports programs, recreation, or events
- First Aid and CPR certification (an asset but not required)
- Customer service experience
