Iluminai is seeking a junior customer support specialist to join our operations team.

We are looking for a motivated individual to join our operations team as a junior customer support specialist. The ideal candidate will have a passion for problem solving and interacting with others, excellent communication skills, and an aptitude and desire to learn and grow in a fast-paced SaaS environment.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for customer inquiries and support requests via phone, email, chat, and other communication channels
- Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues, providing timely and effective solutions while delivering an exceptional customer experience
- Escalate complex or high-priority issues to the appropriate team members and collaborate to ensure resolution
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, support requests, and resolutions within internal systems
- Follow up with customers to provide updates, confirm resolution, and ensure customer satisfaction
- Contribute to team goals by adhering to company processes, service standards, and best practices
- Identify opportunities to improve customer experience, support processes, and internal documentation
- Assist with the creation and maintenance of customer-facing documentation, knowledge base articles, and support resources
- Continuously develop product knowledge and technical skills to provide effective customer support
Qualifications and Experience
- Post-secondary education
- Canadian citizen or permanent resident
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Aptitude and attention to detail
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) or other online productivity tools
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Polite and friendly nature
Additional consideration will be given to those candidates who have French as a second language and/or in addition to the qualifications above possess a stronger technical background.
This is an on-site role at our head office in Kitsilano, Vancouver, BC, with a starting salary of $40,000/year, and three weeks vacation.
