Morning Banquet Supervisor
This role is ideal for someone who loves to hit the ground running early in the morning. Must be able to oversee a small team while providing service for multiple events.
Objective:
To contribute to the overall success of the hotel by providing superior customer service and upholding quality standards for banquet operations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Set up, service and clean up banquet events
- Adheres to quality and industry standards when completing tasks.
- Follows all grooming and uniform guidelines.
- Acts as an Ambassador to the hotel including greeting guests, making them feel welcome, and handling basic inquiries.
- Ensure health and safety practices and WCB regulations are followed.
- Demonstrates a customer service attitude with internal/external contacts.
- Stock supplies, fold napkins, roll cutlery and clean facilities as required.
- Other tasks as required, including the restaurant if needed
Education & Qualifications:
- Strong preference for over two years of banquet experience, one year as a banquet supervisor.
- Must be able to work within a team and with minimal supervision.
- Resourceful and creative with the ability to work well under pressure and in changing situations.
- Team player, flexible and energetic.
- Demonstrated excellence in guest satisfaction.
- Excellent verbal communication skills
