Course will be taught via 2-hour lectures (which the instructor will give) and 3-hour lab sessions (which a teaching assistant will directly give and which the instructor will supervise). - 1 credit course
Topics to include: descriptive and inferential statistics; sampling; chi-square; t-tests; ANOVA; correlation; bivariate regression; statistical significance; standard error; confidence intervals; parametric and non-parametric statistical tests; statistical diagnostics; outlier detection and removal; normality
Teaching Qualification Requirements:
- Extensive experience with applied statistical analysis in urban planning and policy research, including via peer-reviewed journal articles
- Expertise in the R statistical programming language
- Successful previous completion of URBP bivariate and multivariate statistics courses or equivalent
- PhD completed or in progress preferred
Salary: $3,941.34
