Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Crop Worker to join our agricultural team. This role involves supporting various farming operations, including planting, harvesting, and maintaining crops. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, relevant experience in agriculture or horticulture, and the ability to operate farm machinery and tools safely. Responsibilities
- The job duties include all activities related to the planting, care/cultivation, harvesting, packing, sorting and handling of fruits and vegetables such as tomatoes and berries.
- Care and cultivation include crop maintenance, crop removal, greenhouse setup and supporting activities.
- Other regular duties include cleaning, organizing and maintaining tools, and equipment, as well as greenhouse work areas, both inside and outside.
- Workers can assist with loading and unloading materials and record keeping.
Experience
- Prior experience in farming, agriculture, or horticulture is preferred
- Mechanical knowledge related to farm machinery, power tools, and equipment repair is advantageous
- Familiarity with greenhouse management is desirable
- Experience operating forklifts, heavy equipment, or specialized farm machinery is preferred
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
