About the role
InnovOak is looking for a creative, enthusiastic Marketing & Content Creator to help tell the story of our school.
This is an exciting opportunity for a student or early-career marketing professional looking to build their portfolio while gaining real-world experience in content creation, social media marketing, photography, videography, and digital communications.
Working closely with our Admissions team, you'll help showcase student life, classroom experiences, school events, and the unique culture that makes InnovOak special. Your work will directly support student recruitment, community engagement, and brand awareness across multiple marketing channels.
This flexible part-time role is ideal for someone who enjoys being creative, takes initiative, and is passionate about producing engaging digital content.
Key Responsibilities

Capture engaging photos and videos throughout the school.

Create Instagram Reels, Stories, and social media posts.

Assist with planning and scheduling content across social media platforms.

Help maintain a consistent and engaging online presence.

Stay current with social media trends and recommend new content ideas.

Assist with writing blog articles and website content.

Support the development of parent newsletters and email communications.

Help promote school events, admissions initiatives, and community partnerships.

Organize and maintain a library of photos and marketing assets.

Collaborate with the Admissions team on creative marketing campaigns and special projects.
Qualifications
Core Skills & Experience

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Comfortable using Instagram and other social media platforms.

Basic photography and videography skills.

Experience with Canva or similar design software.

Ability to work independently while managing multiple projects.

Strong attention to detail and creativity.

A portfolio or examples of previous work are encouraged.

Current student or recent graduate in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Graphic Design, Photography, Videography, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.

Experience creating social media content for a business, organization, school, or personal brand.

Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, or other video editing software.

Interest in education, storytelling, and community engagement.

Experience writing blogs, newsletters, or website content is considered an asset.
