About PROFAB
PROFAB is a volumetric modular construction company delivering residential and multi-unit projects across Ontario and beyond.
As we continue to modernize and expand our technical department, we are seeking an Architectural Technician / Architectural Technologist (Intermediate) to support drawing production, project coordination, and technical services for our manufacturing and construction teams.
This role offers opportunities for professional growth and will evolve alongside the continued development of our technical team.
What You'll Do
- Prepare and revise permit, construction, and production drawing packages
- Produce plans, elevations, sections, details, and schedules using AutoCAD and Revit
- Coordinate architectural information with structural and mechanical requirements
- Support quality control and revision management for drawing packages
- Respond to technical questions from internal teams and manufacturing staff
- Collaborate with design, engineering, production, purchasing, and project coordination teams
- Help maintain drawing standards, templates, and documentation consistency
What We're Looking For
- 4+ years of professional experience in an architectural drafting, technician, or technologist role
- Strong proficiency in both AutoCAD and Revit
- Experience producing construction documents for residential, multi-unit, or light commercial projects
- Understanding of wood-frame construction practices
- Familiarity with the Ontario Building Code
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a collaborative team environment
Assets
- BCIN certification (House)
- Experience in volumetric modular, prefabricated, residential, multi-unit, or wood-frame construction
- Practical construction, site, or manufacturing experience
- Familiarity with Part 3 OBC projects
- Bilingual (English/French)
