Do you move fast, stay calm under pressure, and take pride in sending out food you’d be proud to eat yourself?
We’re looking for a strong Line Cook to join our kitchen team at our new Italian-inspired gastro pub in the heart of Davisville.
We’re building a neighbourhood spot with great energy, honest food, and a kitchen team that cares about consistency, teamwork, and execution.
What You’ll Do
- Prepare and execute menu items with consistency and attention to detail
- Work efficiently across stations during busy service
- Maintain prep levels and mise en place for smooth execution
- Follow recipes, plating standards, and portion controls
- Ensure food quality, cleanliness, and kitchen organization
- Support receiving, stocking, and proper food storage
- Maintain food safety and sanitation standards at all times
- Work collaboratively with chefs and front-of-house to deliver a great guest experience
What We’re Looking For
- Previous line cook experience in a restaurant, gastro pub, or fast-paced kitchen is required
- Ability to stay organized and perform under pressure
- Strong sense of urgency and teamwork
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
- Passion for food and hospitality
- Evening and weekend availability
- Food Handler Certification (required)
Bonus If You Have
- Italian kitchen experience
- Pasta, grill, sauté, or prep experience
- Experience in a high-volume service environment
- A “no drama, let’s get it done” attitude
