We’re looking for a Sous Chef who can help lead a busy, creative kitchen while keeping standards high.
What the role looks like:
- Supporting the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations
- Leading service when needed
- Maintaining consistency, quality, and organization
- Assisting with prep, ordering, inventory, and food cost control
- Working clean, efficiently, and calmly under pressure
- Helping train and support junior staff
- Contributing ideas for features and seasonal menu.

- Strong line experience in a professional kitchen
- Someone who genuinely cares about hospitality and food quality
- Good instincts, solid communication, and reliability
- Ability to move fast while staying detail-oriented
- Experience with scratch cooking and high-volume service is an asse

Expected hours: 30 – 50 per week

Ability to commute/relocate:
- Canning, NS: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:
- cooking: 3 years (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Food Safe, SafeCheck, Food Handler or equivalent (preferred)
Work Location: In person
