Trillium Support Services - Community Support Worker
Trillium Support Services is currently hiring Experienced Professional Support Workers – CYW, DSW, CSW, SSW- in the Niagara area to provide high-quality care and behavioural support to individuals with complex needs, including developmental disabilities and autism.
This role is ideal for professionals seeking flexible hours, supplemental income, and opportunities to work in diverse support environments while maintaining best practices in care and behaviour management.
Pay Rate: $23.08-$26.08 + vacation pay Job Type: Part-Time, Casual
Flexible Shifts: Days, Afternoons, Evenings, Weekends, Overnights
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct support to individuals with complex needs
- Apply crisis prevention and intervention techniques when required
- Maintain accurate documentation and professional communication
- Build therapeutic, respectful relationships with individuals
- Work collaboratively with clinical teams and families
- Provide consistent individualized support in a respectful, person-centred manner
- Implement individualized Behaviour Support Plans
- Support emotional regulation, communication, and daily living skills
- Personal care as required
- Engage in meaningful daily activities that build independence and confidence
- Accurately collect and document behavioural data
Required Qualifications (Applicants Must Meet All Requirements)
- Diploma or Degree in CYW, DSW, CSW, SSW, Behavioural Sciences, or related field
- Minimum 2 years of direct experience supporting individuals with complex needs
- Experience with developmental disabilities, autism, and behavioural support
- Current Vulnerable Sector Police Check
- Valid CPR & First Aid certification
- Current Crisis Intervention certification (NVCI,SMG)
- Valid drivers licence and reliable vehicle
