Role Overview
We are seeking a Program Manager & Engineering Liaison to bridge customer, supplier, commercial, and engineering activities while supporting business growth and project execution, including activities related to China and international markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate strategic programs supporting deployment of Ionada carbon capture systems.
- Act as the primary liaison between customers, suppliers, business development, and engineering teams.
- Support sales pursuits, customer engagement, technical presentations, and proposal development.
- Translate customer requirements into actionable engineering specifications and priorities.
- Coordinate supplier identification, qualification, development, and ongoing performance management.
- Manage technical and commercial discussions with suppliers and customers.
- Support product customization, implementation planning, and issue resolution.
- Coordinate schedules, deliverables, risk management, and stakeholder communications.
- Assist with establishment and management of operations, partnerships, and business infrastructure in China.
- Travel regularly within Canada and internationally, including approximately six trips to China per year.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Technology, or related discipline.
- 5+ years of experience in program management, engineering coordination, technical sales, project management, or a similar role.
- Ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience working with international suppliers and customers.
- Strong organizational, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with Carbon Capture, industrial process engineering and chemical processes are all considered assets
- Willingness and ability to travel internationally.
- Mandarin language capability and experience in China are considered strong assets.
Reporting Structure
- Reports to the Vice President, Business Development.
