We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Senior Bartender, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, crafting high-quality beverages, and ensuring that all patrons have an enjoyable experience. Your expertise in bartending and food service will contribute to the overall success of our establishment.
Experience
- Experience working with Toast/Square POS systems is required;
- Proven experience as a Bartender in a fast-paced restaurant or bar environment, preferably in Toronto West end.
- Strong knowledge of mixology, beverage preparation techniques, and food handling practices.
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures and basic math skills for accurate transaction processing.
- Excellent time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks during busy periods.
- Experience working with OpenTable /Resy is preferred;
- Candidates with weekend availability are preferred;
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Manage inventory levels, including ordering supplies and ensuring proper storage of all products.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and addressing any concerns promptly.
- Train and mentor junior bartenders and bar staff on proper techniques, safety standards, and customer service practices.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service policies.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using the POS system while maintaining accountability for all transactions.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food orders when applicable.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $19.00-$20.00 per hour
