Responsibilities

- Take accurate food and beverage orders while providing recommendations to enhance the dining experience.
- Serve food and beverages in a timely manner, ensuring presentation meets restaurant standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tables, utensils, and service areas according to food safety regulations.
- Assist in food preparation as needed, ensuring adherence to food safety guidelines.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using basic math skills for billing purposes.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and address any guest concerns promptly.
- Upsell menu items to maximize guest satisfaction and enhance their dining experience.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or the food industry is preferred but not required.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards is essential.
- Basic math skills are necessary for handling transactions accurately.
- A willingness to learn about menu items and food preparation techniques is highly valued.
