Framing Labourer / Carpenter Apprentice – Learn & Build with Timbercraft Construction
About Timbercraft Construction Ltd.
We’re not a typical framing crew — we’re builders of multifamily and mid-rise structures across Alberta, known for our precision, consistency, and team culture.
At Timbercraft, we believe that great framers are trained, not born.
We invest in people who bring the right attitude — strength, reliability, and hunger to learn.
If you’re looking for more than a job — if you want a career path in construction where you earn while you learn — this is your opportunity.
Position Overview
We’re hiring Framing Labourers / Apprentices to support our experienced carpenters in the assembly of walls, floors, roofs, and structural framing systems.

- Assist framers with measuring, cutting, and assembling components.
- Keep job sites clean, safe, and organized.
- Learn framing layouts, reading blueprints, and using power tools.
- Follow all safety rules and toolbox talk instructions.
- Bring energy, discipline, and teamwork every day.
What We’re Looking For
- No experience required — training is provided.
- Physically fit and capable of lifting 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Positive attitude and reliability are a must.
- Ability to work full-time outdoors (rain or shine).
- Willingness to learn carpentry and advance your career.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred.
What We Offer
- Starting wage: CA $20–$25/hr (depending on skill and attitude).
- Full-time hours: Monday–Friday, optional Saturdays.
- On-the-job training and mentorship from expert framers.
- safety certification support.
- Consistent year-round work on major multifamily projects.
- Clear path to promotion: Labourer → Apprentice → Framer → Lead.

Because this isn’t day labour — it’s the first step toward a skilled trade that can change your life.
You’ll gain real construction experience, develop trade certifications, and be part of a team that’s building Alberta’s future.

If you show up ready to work and learn, we’ll take care of the rest.
