About the role
Freshslice Pizza on Industrial Way in Chilliwack is looking for an experienced pizza maker to join our team full time. You'll be at the heart of our kitchen — building pizzas, running the oven, and keeping quality consistent every shift — while also stepping up to the front counter to serve customers when needed.
This is a role for someone who takes pride in their work, moves efficiently in a kitchen, and can handle a busy evening rush without missing a beat.
Previous Freshslice experience is a major asset. If you've worked at another Freshslice location, you already know our systems and standards — and we'll recognize that.
What you'll be doing
Preparing sauces, and toppings to Freshslice standards
Building and baking pizzas consistently and efficiently
Managing oven timing and quality during busy evening periods
Serving customers at the counter — taking orders, handling payment, keeping things moving
Maintaining a clean, organized, and food-safe kitchen at all times
Supporting opening and closing duties as part of the evening crew
What we're looking for
At least some experience in a pizza kitchen or food preparation role — you should know your way around a dough ball
Previous Freshslice experience is a strong bonus (any location)
Available for evening shifts, including weekends and long weekends
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently when needed
A positive attitude with both customers and coworkers
Food Safe certification is an asset — we can help you get it if needed
Schedule
35–40 hours per week. Primarily evening shifts. Weekend availability is required, including Sundays and long weekends. Schedule is discussed at interview.
