Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM
(Additional hours may available during PA Days, March Camp, and Summer Camp)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a caring, responsible, and organized Afterschool Teacher & Seasonal Camp Coordinator to join our Oakville (Third Line) location. This role involves supervising children during afterschool hours, assisting with seasonal camps, and supporting monthly schedule and calendar planning.
Responsibilities:
Supervise and care for children during afterschool program (3:00–6:00 PM)
Ensure student safety, positive behavior, and well-being
Assist with homework time and structured activities
Help coordinate and assist with PA Day, March, and Summer Camps
Assist with monthly program planning and calendar coordination
Help prepare and organize activities based on the monthly schedule
Basic cleaning and tidying of the facility
Assist instructors and staff as needed
Communicate professionally with parents and team members
Qualifications:
Experience working with children (afterschool, camp, daycare, school, etc.)
Patient, kind, reliable, and responsible
Strong English communication skills
Comfortable managing a group of children
Vulnerable Sector Screening (VSS) is required (or ability to obtain)
Organized and able to assist with planning and scheduling
CPR/First Aid is an asset
Taekwondo experience is an asset (not required)
