Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to oversee and optimize our operations. This role involves coordinating warehouse distribution, transportation management, procurement, and order fulfillment processes to ensure seamless logistics flow.
Responsibilities
Coordinate daily freight and transportation operations across local and long-haul routes
Schedule and dispatch drivers, trucks, and equipment to ensure timely pickups and deliveries
Assign loads to drivers based on availability, hours of service regulations, and route efficiency
Monitor shipment progress using GPS tracking, load boards, and transportation management systems
Communicate with drivers to provide instructions, updates, and resolve on-road issues
Liaise with customers, brokers, and shippers regarding pickup times, delivery status, and freight requirements
Arrange pickup and delivery appointments with warehouses and distribution centres
Optimize routes and schedules to improve efficiency and reduce fuel and downtime costs
Pay: $25.00 per hour
