Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Waste Equipment Service Technician / Foreman to join a growing field service team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled technician with strong mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and welding experience who enjoys troubleshooting industrial equipment and leading service projects.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose, repair, and maintain compactors, balers, pressure washers, scrubbers, catch basin covers, waste bins, and other industrial equipment.
Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
Perform preventive maintenance and respond to emergency service calls.
Complete basic PLC troubleshooting and equipment programming.
Perform light welding, fabrication, and cutting as required.
Complete digital work orders and service reports accurately.
Prepare repair recommendations and communicate effectively with customers.
Assist with estimating jobs and ordering parts.
Lead service projects and provide guidance to junior technicians.
Maintain a safe, clean, and professional work environment.
Qualifications
Experience repairing waste, industrial, or heavy equipment.
Strong knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems.
Basic welding and fabrication experience.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Valid Ontario G Driver's Licence.
Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and digital work order systems.
Salesforce experience is considered an asset.
