We are looking for an HR Recruiting Partner to join our Human Resources Team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the end-to-end recruitment and selection process for assigned divisional portfolios and for supporting talent acquisition–related projects. The HR Recruiting Partner builds strong relationships with hiring managers and leaders, develops effective sourcing strategies, and ensures an efficient, consistent candidate and hiring manager experience. The role applies strong knowledge of recruitment best practices, Human Resources policies and procedures, and employment legislation regarding employment practices in order to attract, select, and onboard qualified talent that supports the organization’s strategic objectives.

Detailed information about this position:
Acts as primary recruitment partner for assigned divisional portfolio, building relationships with leaders and conducting regular check-ins to understand workforce needs, upcoming vacancies, and talent gaps.
Develops recruitment strategies aligned with workforce and strategic plans, including hard-to-fill and specialized roles.
Develops and maintain workforce plans and staffing forecasts, providing input on talent pipelines, market trends, and time-to-fill expectations.
Advises on job design, organizational structure implications, and appropriate sourcing approaches (internal vs. external, temporary vs. permanent, etc.).
Manages the full-cycle recruitment process
Drafts and posts compelling, inclusive job advertisements
Screens applicants for minimum qualifications and organizational fit
Coordinates and participates in interview panels; prepares interview questions and tools to ensure consistency and fairness in assessment.
Guides hiring managers in the use of behavioural interviewing techniques and best practices in candidate assessment and selection.
Oversees the offer process, including internal equity review, preparation of offer letters, and coordination with HR and Total Rewards as required.
Ensures pre-employment checks are completed in a timely and compliant manner.
Ensures a positive and professional candidate experience, including timely communications and status updates.
Provides ongoing feedback and coaching to hiring managers on candidate experience and interview techniques.
Supports the promotion of the employer brand by representing the organization at career fairs, networking events, and campus recruitment activities.
Identifies opportunities to improve recruitment marketing materials and messaging to attract diverse and qualified talent.
Uses the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and HRIS to manage requisitions, track candidate progress, and maintain accurate and up-to-date recruitment records.
Develops and reports on key recruitment metrics (e.g., time-to-fill, source effectiveness, offer acceptance rates, diversity of candidate pools), providing analysis and recommendations for improvement.
Ensures recruitment practices comply with BC Employment Standards, BC Human Rights legislation, privacy legislation, and internal policies.
Reviews and refine recruitment processes and tools to improve efficiency, consistency, and quality of hires.
Supports and provides subject matter expertise to HR Programs, Talent Attraction, and Learning & Development teams on topics related to recruitment and selection.
Partners with HR colleagues and hiring managers to ensure smooth and timely onboarding of new hires, including coordination of start dates, orientation, and required documentation.
Provides general HR guidance to managers and employees related to recruitment, internal transfers, and career opportunities.
Drives innovative recruitment solutions and leverages technology, social media, and professional networks to enhance sourcing and reduce time-to-fill.
Streamlines recruitment-related processes to enhance the delivery and consistency of HR and talent acquisition support across divisions.
A bachelor’s degree or diploma in Human Resources Management or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years working in recruitment and selection and/or as an HR Generalist with significant talent acquisition responsibilities.
Preference will be given to those with either credentials including a Registered Professional Recruiter (RPR) or Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR)
Broad knowledge of legislation including BC Employment Standards and BC Human Rights, particularly as it relates to recruitment, selection, and hiring.
Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems and HRIS (e.g., Workday, SAP, BambooHR) and advanced computer skills in Excel, MS Word, and related tools.
Demonstrated experience in full-cycle recruitment, including sourcing, interviewing, and selection for a variety of roles and levels.
Exceptional organizational abilities, attention to detail, and accuracy in managing multiple requisitions and candidate pipelines.
Effective verbal and written communication skills necessary to explain complex and/or confidential information and to communicate with candidates and all levels of management.
Strong time management and organizational skills necessary to manage multiple recruitment projects, appropriately prioritize workload, and meet hiring deadlines and goals.
Presentation skills necessary to facilitate interview training, recruitment-related sessions, and/or deliver informational presentations to groups and individuals.
Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with candidates, employees, and leaders, building credibility and trust.
Ability to anticipate and identify recruitment challenges and use sound judgment and fact-based analysis to develop effective and efficient talent acquisition solutions.
Applicants must be legally able to work in Canada on a permanent basis (Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident).
