Warm Home Insulation is currently looking to grow our family of installers. This person’s primary role will be to participate in the install leadership of our ‘batt and poly’ division; however, this person will also provide support to installers in other divisions, which may provide opportunity for growth in other areas.
Responsibilities:
· Read and understand work orders to determine project scope and the day’s job requirements.
· Load the required materials.
· Ability to use hand and power tools as necessary to install insulation properly and according to specifications.
· Follow all safety program guidelines
· Travel and work out of town for specific projects when needed
· Valid driver's license
Work Site Environment:
· New construction job sites (residential and commercial), and existing residential houses
· Work can be indoors or outdoors, must be able to work in all conditions; noisy; odours; dusty; Temperature extremes, etc.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
· Physically demanding; must be able to install batts quickly and efficiently
· Manual dexterity
· Working on your feet 7-10 hrs/day. Standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, kneeling
· Ability to climb and work off ladders/scaffolding
The ideal candidate for this job must have:
· Experience installing batts and poly is required.
· Experience with installing other types of insulation is an asset
· Must be able to apply training, work well individually to be an effective teammate to complete the tasks at hand. Problem solving and the ability to think on your feet is essential to this role
· Ability to work OT and weekends when needed
· Willingness to continue to develop in the industry
· Valid license with own vehicle to get to work is imperative because public transportation does not come close to our shop/office location.
The position is open for immediate start. Wages start above minimum and are competitive, based on experience and skill set.
