Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cabinet Installer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing cabinets in residential and commercial spaces, ensuring precise fit and finish. This role requires a strong understanding of construction processes, excellent craftsmanship, and the ability to work efficiently within project timelines. Candidates with experience in carpentry, woodworking, and various construction trades are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and installation instructions to ensure accurate placement of cabinets.
- Measure and mark installation points, ensuring proper alignment and levelness.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment for cabinet assembly and installation.
- Secure cabinets to walls using appropriate fasteners, ensuring stability and safety.
- Assist with related tasks such as drywall repair, caulking, or minor carpentry work as needed.
- Coordinate with project managers, designers, and other trades to meet project specifications and deadlines.
- Maintain a clean work area and ensure all tools and materials are properly stored after use.
- Perform heavy lifting of cabinets and materials safely throughout the installation process.
Experience
- Proven experience in cabinet installation or related carpentry work preferred.
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and construction drawings
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools and other construction machinery.
- Prior handyman experience or general construction background is beneficial.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately.
- Physical capability for heavy lifting and working at heights or on ladders as required.
