Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Concrete Worker to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years experience in concrete finishing, formwork, and related masonry tasks. This role involves working on various concrete projects, including flat work, walls, and several different finishes (broom, exposed, and pattern concrete). Candidates should possess a strong understanding of construction processes and be capable of using power tools safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and set forms for pouring concrete, including rebar installation and concrete forming techniques
- Use of concrete tools and power tools necessary for forming, pouring, and finishing concrete
- Perform concrete finishing tasks such as smoothing, leveling, and sealing surfaces to meet project standards
- Read blueprints, schematics, and schematics to accurately execute construction plans
- Use hand tools and masonry skills for repair, restoration, or renovation projects involving concrete structures
- Conduct heavy lifting and manual labor required for transporting materials and equipment on-site
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of debris properly
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction with a focus on concrete work, masonry, or related fields
- Skills in rebar installation, concrete finishing, and carpentry
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and schematics accurately
- Physical strength for heavy lifting and prolonged periods of manual labor
- Familiarity with renovation projects and concrete forming techniques
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow technical instructions precisely
- Valid experience in using hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely on-site
