Job Overview
Professional Mobile Wash is seeking a skilled and experienced Fleet Mechanic to join our maintenance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a diverse fleet of vehicles and Pressure washers to ensure optimal performance and safety. This role requires a strong mechanical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Previous dealership experience and familiarity with various machinery are highly valued.
Duties
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on fleet vehicles and equipment.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical issues using schematics and diagnostic tools
- Repair and replace components using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other maintenance tools
- Maintain detailed records of repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and industry regulations
- Assist in assembling or installing new equipment or parts as needed
Requirements
- Proven mechanic experience with a strong background in repair and industrial equipment maintenance
- Dealership experience preferred but not required
- Knowledge of heavy equipment ie trucks.
- Proficiency in reading schematics, technical manuals, and electrical diagrams
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and diagnostic devices effectively
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform heavy lifting safely
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Hours of operation
- Monday to Friday 7:00am - 4:00pm
- Weekend on call mornings (if not repairs are needed for the morning you will not be required to come in)
Pay
- $27 to $30 per hour (Experience depending)
- overtime over 44 hours
- Possiblity for early off time fridays.
Pay: $27.00-$30.00 per hour
