Job Overview
We are seeking a Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our team. The Heavy Equipment Mechanic will ensure that all equipment operates safely and efficiently, supporting our operations.
Job Duties
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment e.g Semi-Truck & Trailers
- Wheel off/on to check and replace brake/drum/rotors of Semi-Truck and Trailers
- Candidate can pick up repetitive weight up to 50 lbs
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues using schematics and diagnostic tools
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized assembly equipment to disassemble and reassemble machinery
- Maintain detailed service records and adhere to safety protocols during all maintenance activities, clean shop and tools.
- Support customer service efforts by providing technical advice and updates on repair status when necessary.
Experience
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate heavy equipment as needed during maintenance procedures
- Experience working with power tools, hand tools, and specialized maintenance equipment
- Excellent problem-solving skills combined with customer service orientation to support internal teams or clients effectively.

- Class 5 Q endorsement preferred
Job Types: Full-time, Apprenticeship
Pay: $15.00-$36.00 per hour
