Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and caring Part-Time Home Care Personal Support Worker (PSW) to join our team. The successful candidate will provide essential support to clients with daily living activities in the comfort of their own homes throughout Niagara-on-the-Lake, promoting dignity and well-being.
Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
- Support clients with meal preparation, medication reminders, and light housekeeping
- Monitor and report changes in clients’ health or condition to supervisors
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Maintain accurate documentation of care provided
- Follow all safety and infection control protocols
Requirements:
- Valid Personal Support Worker (PSW) certification or equivalent qualification or RPN license
- Current Vulnerable Sector Check (or willingness to obtain prior to employment)
- Valid CPR certification
- Access to reliable transportation for travel to client homes within Niagara-on-the-Lake
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Compassionate and patient attitude

Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
