Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of hair styling services including cuts, color, treatments, and styling tailored to client preferences
- Deliver outstanding customer service by understanding client needs and providing professional recommendations
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all work areas and tools to ensure a safe environment
- Upsell retail products that complement client treatments, enhancing their overall experience
- Assist with front desk duties such as scheduling appointments, greeting clients, and managing check-in/check-out processes
- Foster strong communication with clients to build lasting relationships and ensure satisfaction
- Stay current with industry trends, new techniques, and AVEDA product knowledge to provide innovative services
Skills
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Proficiency in hair styling techniques including cutting, coloring, and styling tools
- Strong knowledge of sanitation practices and safety protocols in a salon setting
- Ability to effectively upsell retail products while maintaining genuine client relationships
- Clear communication skills for engaging with clients and team members
