Key Responsibilities:
- Surgical Expertise: Use your skills throughout the entire procedure.
- Dental Procedures: Take the lead in dental cleanings, x-rays, and other dental procedures, ensuring the highest standard of care for our patients.
- Monitor anesthesia and vital signs during surgeries while ensuring patient safety.
- Assist veterinarians with diagnosing and treating animals, performing lab tests, and handling medical procedures.
- Collect and prepare diagnostic samples, ensuring accuracy and compliance with protocols.
- Provide nursing care and post-operative support for surgical and dental patients.
- Educate pet owners on preventative health practices, post-operative care, and dental hygiene.
- Technician appointments from anal gland expression, technician injection, blood and urine sample collection, discharge appointment, diabetic education and more.
What We're Looking For:
- RVT Certification required
- Strong surgical and dental experience with the ability to work independently and collaboratively with veterinarians.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to perform diagnostic tests and medical procedures with precision in a fast pace environment with accuracy..
- A passion for educating clients about preventative care and treatment options.
