Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Residential Site Supervisor to oversee construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, technical knowledge, and the ability to manage multiple aspects of residential construction sites. This role offers an opportunity to lead teams, ensure quality standards, and deliver projects on time and within budget. The position requires a proactive approach to safety, quality control, and client satisfaction.
Duties
- Supervise daily operations on residential construction sites, ensuring adherence to project plans and schedules
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to facilitate smooth workflow
- Utilize construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, and Primavera P6 for project tracking and documentation
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to guide on-site activities
- Conduct quality control inspections to ensure work meets industry standards and client expectations
- Manage project budgets, track expenses, and assist in construction estimating as needed
- Oversee safety protocols and enforce OSHA regulations to maintain a safe working environment
- Provide leadership and supervision to on-site personnel, including training and performance evaluations
- Monitor progress against project timelines and implement corrective actions when necessary
Experience
- Proven supervising experience in residential construction or related fields
- Strong proficiency with construction management software including ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, or similar tools
- Knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and construction estimating processes
- Demonstrated ability in quality control and ensuring compliance with safety standards
- Experience managing budgets and coordinating multiple subcontractors or teams
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to read technical drawings and convey instructions clearly
- Familiarity with construction management best practices and industry regulations
