Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Osteopath to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive patient care through osteopathic techniques, ensuring optimal recovery and well-being. This role requires excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and a thorough understanding of medical terminology and patient management. Multilingual abilities, including proficiency in French or bilingual skills, are highly valued to serve diverse patient populations. Experience in hospital settings, pediatrics, and acute care will be considered advantageous. The Osteopath will work closely with other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality treatment and support patient education.
Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed patient assessments to determine treatment plans based on individual needs.
- Apply osteopathic techniques to treat musculoskeletal issues, injuries, and other health conditions.
- Maintain accurate case management records using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Collaborate with medical staff to coordinate patient care, especially in acute care and pediatrics cases.
- Educate patients on treatment procedures, post-treatment care, and preventive health strategies.
- Utilize mechanical knowledge and nursing principles to enhance treatment effectiveness.
- Manage time efficiently to accommodate multiple patients daily while maintaining high standards of care.
- Document patient progress and update medical records promptly and accurately.
- Communicate effectively with patients from diverse backgrounds, utilizing multilingual skills as needed.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a hospital or clinical environment with a focus on patient care.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, case management, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and Word processing tools for documentation purposes.
- Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities (including French) are preferred.
- Background in nursing or acute care is advantageous; mechanical knowledge is a plus.
- Ability to handle pediatric cases with sensitivity and expertise.
- Exceptional time management and analysis skills to prioritize patient needs efficiently.

Pay: $34.88-$98.52 per hour
