Electrical Superintendent
Location: Simcoe, Ontario

Schedule: Day shift, 7:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m., Monday to Friday; overtime available

Pay: $51 - $58/hour, with a 3-month wage review
Estimated total compensation: $120,000+ per year, plus company truck

Job Description
Rassaun is hiring an experienced Electrical Superintendent to lead and oversee electrical construction activities on industrial projects. This role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising field operations to ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
The ideal candidate is a strong leader with a solid electrical background, excellent communication skills, and proven experience managing crews, subcontractors, and project execution in an industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate all on-site electrical work
- Lead foremen, electricians, apprentices, and subcontractors
- Review project plans, drawings, and specifications
- Plan daily and weekly work schedules and manpower requirements
- Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to quality standards
- Monitor progress against schedule and report issues to project management
- Coordinate with other trades, clients, engineers, and site supervisors
- Support field problem-solving, installations, and troubleshooting
- Enforce company policies, safety procedures, and OHSA requirements
- Conduct inspections, verify installations, and ensure compliance with codes and standards
- Maintain daily logs, progress reports, and other project documentation
- Assist with material planning, procurement coordination, and equipment needs
- Promote a positive team environment and strong site productivity
Qualifications
- Red Seal Electrician or equivalent trade certification preferred
- Minimum 5+ years of electrical construction experience
- Previous supervisory or superintendent experience in industrial construction
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, equipment, and installation methods
- Familiarity with the Ontario Electrical Code and workplace safety requirements
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, schematics, and specifications
- Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills
- Ability to manage priorities and solve problems in a fast-paced environment
- Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation
Assets / Preferred Experience
- Experience in industrial, commercial, or heavy construction environments
- Experience with project scheduling and labour planning
- Strong background in troubleshooting and field coordination
- Forklift, lift, or other site equipment certifications
- Knowledge of lockout/tagout and energized work practices
Pay: $106,080.00-$120,640.00 per year
