The Opportunity

As a Leasing Specialist, you will be the front line of our communities, responsible for driving occupancy, delivering exceptional customer experiences, and contributing directly to the success of our properties.
What You’ll Be Doing
Leasing & Sales
- Own the full leasing cycle, from marketing available units to conducting tours, screening applicants, and closing leases
- Confidently present homes and community amenities, tailoring each tour to the prospect’s lifestyle and needs
- Consistently meet and exceed leasing targets
Customer Experience & Relationships
- Build strong, lasting relationships with prospective and current residents
- Deliver outstanding service and timely communication throughout the leasing journey
- Act as a trusted resource, helping residents feel confident and excited about their housing decision
Market Awareness & Strategy
- Stay informed on local rental market trends, pricing, and competitors
- Provide insights and recommendations to optimize leasing performance and rental rates
- Support marketing initiatives that increase visibility and lead generation
Retention & Renewals
- Contribute to resident retention through proactive engagement and follow-up
- Manage lease renewals and negotiate terms to maintain high occupancy levels
Administration & Compliance
- Maintain accurate leasing records, reports, and documentation
- Ensure compliance with fair housing regulations and company policies
- Utilize leasing software and CRM tools (Yardi experience is an asset)
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in leasing, real estate sales, or a high-performance sales role
- A results-driven mindset with a genuine passion for closing deals
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented
- Knowledge of fair housing regulations and leasing best practices
- A passion for helping people find the right home at the right time in their lives
