Overview
We are seeking a vigilant and dependable Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of our premises. This role involves monitoring property, preventing loss, and maintaining a secure environment for staff and visitors. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of responsibility, excellent observational skills, and the ability to respond effectively to security incidents. Prior experience in law enforcement or surveillance is highly valued. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment dedicated to safety and protection.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols of the property to deter unauthorized access and identify potential security threats
- Monitor surveillance equipment such as CCTV cameras to oversee activity across the premises
- Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, or emergencies, following established protocols
- Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security breaches
- Enforce company policies and procedures related to loss prevention and safety
- Assist visitors and staff with directions or inquiries in a professional manner
- Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary
- Ensure all security equipment is functioning correctly and report any malfunctions or damages
Experience
- Prior experience in law enforcement, security, surveillance, or loss prevention is preferred
- Familiarity with CCTV systems and surveillance technology is highly desirable
- Strong observational skills with the ability to identify suspicious activity quickly
- Excellent communication skills for reporting incidents clearly and effectively
- Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations
- Knowledge of security protocols, emergency response procedures, and safety regulations
