Job Summary
We are seeking skilled and reliable Plasterers and Painters to join our construction team. The successful candidates will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying plaster, paint and coatings to ensure high-quality finishes on residential, commercial, and industrial projects. This role requires attention to detail, strong workmanship and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces for plastering and painting
- Apply plaster, drywall finishing, paint and coatings
- Repair and smooth walls, ceilings and surfaces
- Follow safety procedures and job specifications
- Maintain clean and organized work areas
Qualifications & Skills
- Previous experience as a plasterer and/or painter
- Knowledge of plastering and painting materials, tools and techniques
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Ability to work at heights and perform physical labour
- Reliable, punctual and team oriented
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (asset)
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying conditions
Working Conditions
- Construction site environments (residential, commercial, industrial)
- Physically demanding work including lifting, bending and standing for long periods
- Exposure to dust, paint fumes, and varying weather conditions
