Concrete Finisher
Contour Developments is seeking an experienced and motivated Concrete Finisher to join our growing team. The successful candidate will primarily be responsible for all aspects of concrete finishing, including placing, screeding, bull floating, edging, jointing, power troweling, and achieving high-quality finishes on a variety of commercial, industrial, and civil concrete projects.
In addition to concrete finishing duties, the successful candidate will assist with other concrete construction activities as required, including formwork installation, rebar placement, concrete placement, stripping forms, site preparation, and general carpentry-related tasks. We are looking for team members who take pride in their workmanship, work safely, and are willing to support the crew wherever needed to ensure project success.
Wage Range:
$25.00–$40.00 per hour, depending on experience, skill level, and qualifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Finish concrete surfaces to specified tolerances and quality standards.
- Operate finishing equipment including power trowels and other finishing tools.
- Assist with concrete placement, screeding, and curing activities.
- Support formwork installation and stripping operations.
- Assist with rebar installation and other concrete construction tasks as required.
- Maintain a safe, organized, and productive work environment.
- Work collaboratively with supervisors, carpenters, laborers, and equipment operators.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Concrete Finisher.
- Strong understanding of concrete placement and finishing techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings is considered an asset.
- Physically capable of performing demanding construction work.
- Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
- Valid driver's license preferred.
