Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair radio equipment and systems
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with radio equipment
- Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance on radio equipment
- Collaborate with other technicians to ensure efficient operation of radio systems
- Keep accurate records of work performed and equipment inventory
Work with the sales team to assist in coordinating project installations/deployments
Research and evaluate system problems and recommend a solution.
Ability to communicate professionally with co-workers and customers daily.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems and circuits
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical manuals and schematics
- Excellent problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues with radio equipment
- Detail-oriented with the ability to perform precise measurements and adjustments
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and provide clear instructions
Good knowledge of Motorola, Tait, Harris, Kenwood, Hytera (and various others) programming software
