Full Time Greenhouse Supervisor
SALARY & BENEFITS
- $16.00 to $18.00 / Hour

KEY AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY
- Assist the Grower(s) to ensure that all tasks are completed accurately and efficiently in the Greenhouse
- Oversee greenhouse employees to ensure harvesting is completed accurately and efficiently, as directed; verify completion.
- Monitor progress and ensure quality standards are met; maintain accurate records, if required.
- Responsible for ensuring greenhouse employees conform to all sanitation protocols (sanitize hands and harvesting tools, etc.).
- Responsible for monitoring and maintaining labour tracking system for the Greenhouse.
- Assist with reviewing greenhouse needs and opportunities for improvement.
- Complete other miscellaneous duties as assigned by applicable Manager(s).
- Monitor plant conditions and report any concerns to the Grower.
- Perform minor repairs in the greenhouse, as needed.
- Monitor and report maintenance needs to the Grower.
- Assist with ensuring all employees in the Greenhouse are trained to perform their jobs properly.
- Assist with ensuring that the Greenhouse conforms to all Food Safety, Quality Management System and Health and Safety requirements.
- Attendance and participation in all required meetings.
- Represent the company in a professional manger at all times.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding all projects, property and intellectual property of the company.
- Report all discrepancies and breaches of any and all company procedures, protocols and integrity.
- Follow all Food Safety, Quality Management System and Health & Safety requirements.
- Obey all general job training instruction, safe work practices and procedures.
SPECIFIC SKILLS / REQUIREMENTS
- Forklift License
- High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred but not necessary
- 0 -1 year relevant experience
- Leadership skills, ability to be objective
- Organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team
- Flexible, Reliable
