We are currently hiring Mobile Patrol Security Guards to provide patrol coverage for a client site in the Cloverdale area. This position is ideal for security professionals seeking flexible part-time, casual, or on-call work with opportunities to grow within our expanding organization.
Shift Schedule
Monday to Friday
- 8:30 PM – 5:30 AM
- Complete 3 patrols during each shift.
Weekends & Statutory Holidays
- 24-hour patrol coverage
- Complete 6 patrols throughout the day.
Applicants may indicate availability for any or all of the above shifts.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct mobile security patrols of the assigned property.
- Maintain a visible security presence to deter theft, vandalism, trespassing, and unauthorized activity.
- Monitor the property for safety hazards, suspicious behaviour, and security concerns.
- Respond to incidents in accordance with company policies and site procedures.
- Complete accurate patrol reports, incident reports, and daily activity logs.
- Communicate professionally with supervisors, clients, emergency responders, and members of the public.
- Ensure all patrols are completed according to client requirements.
Patrol Requirements
- Patrols must be conducted at random intervals.
- Patrols must be evenly distributed throughout the assigned shift.
- Patrols must not be completed back-to-back.
- A reasonable time gap must be maintained between patrols.
- All patrol activities must be accurately documented.
Qualifications
- Valid BC Security Worker License (required).
- Valid Driver's License.
- Own a reliable vehicle.
- Previous mobile patrol or security experience is an asset but not necessary.
- Strong observation, communication, and report-writing skills.
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
- Reliable, professional, and customer services oriented.
- Legally authorized to work in Canada.
