Overview
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting freight and goods to various destinations, ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining compliance with all safety regulations. This role offers an opportunity to work with a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment, utilizing both driving skills and equipment operation expertise.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks to transport freight across designated routes
- Load and unload cargo using forklift or heavy equipment as needed
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs
- Assist with freight handling, securing loads, and verifying shipment accuracy
- Perform minor automotive repairs or troubleshooting when necessary
- Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies during transit
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and warehouse personnel to coordinate deliveries
Requirements
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Experience in commercial driving and freight transportation preferred
- Proficiency in forklift operation and heavy equipment handling is a plus
- Knowledge of automotive repair basics is desirable
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
- Physical ability to load, unload, and secure freight; capable of lifting heavy loads when required
- Prior experience with freight handling and logistics operations preferred

Pay: $80,000.00-$95,000.00 per year
