Freight Broker and or Logistics Sales Opportunity – G2 Logistics
Are you a logistics professional struggling to get the commission you deserve? Do you have strong relationships with customers but lack the operational support to grow your business?Responsibilities
- Freight Quoting: Obtain quotes from carriers, evaluate pricing, communicate costs, and assist in negotiating competitive rates.
- Order Entry: Accurately enter orders into the system and coordinate with sales and customer service to ensure order details are correct.
- Tracking Shipments: Monitor shipments using tracking systems and provide timely updates on status and ETA.
- Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve issues with shipments or administrative processes, collaborating with the team to improve efficiency.
- Education & Experience: Post-secondary education in a relevant field or at least 1 year of logistics/transportation experience is preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) and CRM systems.
- Able to use a multiple of outside software's on a daily basis
- Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills with a focus on accuracy.
- Client Relationship Management: Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Motivation & Attitude: Highly driven, proactive, and eager to grow a career in logistics.

Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain carrier relationships—find new carriers and update existing ones.
- Handle pricing by finding competitive rates for current RFPs and ongoing business.
- Dispatch freight by sourcing carriers to move existing loads.
- Drive sales by bringing in new clients who aren’t currently being serviced effectively.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of cross-border Canada-USA logistics experience.
- Strong industry relationships and a passion for sales.
