Security Guard – Multiple Locations (Nova Scotia & New Brunswick)
Apex Core Protection is currently hiring professional and dependable Security Guards for a variety of assignments across Nova Scotia and New Brunswick. We are seeking individuals who are customer-focused, reliable, and capable of maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for clients, staff, and the public.
Positions may include:
- Event Security
- Mobile Patrol
- Commercial & Industrial Security
- Concierge / Customer Service Security
- Static Site Security
- Overnight & Weekend Shifts
Responsibilities
- Maintain a visible security presence
- Monitor properties, assets, and personnel
- Conduct patrols and complete incident reports
- Provide exceptional customer service
- Respond professionally to incidents and emergencies
- Enforce site rules, policies, and safety procedures
- Communicate effectively with clients, staff, emergency responders, and the public
Requirements
- Must reside in Nova Scotia or New Brunswick
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
- Valid Security Guard License (or willingness to obtain, depending on province)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent customer service abilities
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
- Must speak and communicate clearly in English
- Bilingual English/French candidates are strongly preferred for New Brunswick positions
- Reliable transportation is considered an asset
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
