Independent Contractor Opportunity
Anchor Rehabilitation Support Services is seeking experienced Behaviour Therapy Assistants (BTAs) to join our growing network of independent clinical contractors providing community-based Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) services throughout Ontario.

Our Behaviour Therapy Assistants work collaboratively with Registered Behaviour Analysts (RBAs), families and interdisciplinary teams to implement individualized behaviour support plans for children, youth and adults with autism spectrum disorder, developmental disabilities, dual diagnoses and complex behavioural needs.
About the Opportunity
This is an independent contractor position offering flexible scheduling based on client referrals and availability. Contractors accept referrals that align with their geographic location and schedule while working collaboratively with Anchor's clinical team.
Services are delivered in homes, schools and community settings.
Responsibilities
As a Behaviour Therapy Assistant, you will:
- Implement individualized Behaviour Support Plans developed by Registered Behaviour Analysts.
- Deliver evidence-based ABA strategies
- Collect accurate behavioural and program data.
- Complete professional, objective session documentation.
- Participate in consultation with the supervising RBA regarding client progress and program implementation.
- Support children, youth and adults in achieving individualized behavioural, communication, social and adaptive living goals.
- Collaborate with caregivers and other members of the interdisciplinary team to promote consistency across environments.
- Deliver services independently while maintaining regular communication with the supervising clinician.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Diploma or degree in Behavioural Science, Child & Youth Care, Social Service Work, Early Childhood Education, Psychology or another related discipline.
- Experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder, developmental disabilities, mental health concerns or complex behavioural needs.
- Knowledge of Applied Behaviour Analysis principles and intervention strategies.
- Excellent communication, organizational and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining a collaborative approach to service delivery.
Requirements
Applicants must have:
- Valid Ontario G Driver's Licence.
- Reliable insured vehicle.
- Current Vulnerable Sector Check.
- Current CPR/First Aid (or willingness to obtain).
- Professional liability insurance (or willingness to obtain prior to accepting contracts).
- Ability to travel throughout assigned service areas.
