Duties
- Assist pharmacists with preparing and dispensing medications accurately and efficiently
- Manage medication inventory, including stock replenishment and proper storage procedures
- Provide excellent patient care by answering questions and offering guidance on over-the-counter products
- Maintain clear records of medication transactions, prescriptions, and patient interactions
- Support the administration of medications under supervision, following all safety protocols
- Use medical terminology accurately to communicate effectively with healthcare professionals and patients
- Ensure compliance with pharmacy policies, safety standards, and legal regulations at all times
Requirements
- Prior experience in a hospital or healthcare environment is highly preferred
- Experience working as a pharmacy technician or in a similar role is advantageous
- Strong understanding of medical terminology and medication administration procedures
- Passion for patient care with excellent communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of pharmacy software systems and inventory management tools is beneficial
