Kenney Skylights is seeking hardworking, reliable, and skilled Siding & Roofing Installers to support our growing team. This role is perfect for individuals who take pride in physical, hands-on work and want to continuously engage with new projects and unique daily problem-solving.
As an Exteriors Installer, you will work alongside our Skylight specialists to ensure projects are completed to the highest standard. You will install siding, soffits, fascia, gutters, roofing, and skylights. Required specialized knowledge in exterior installations, who would be comfortable learning/working with roofing and skylights. Kenney Skylights is seeking an experienced exterior installer, with competitive pay based on experience.
Position Overview:
- Install siding, soffits, fascia, and gutters.
- Assisting Skylight Specialists with skylight work, and roofing tasks. An excellent opportunity to broaden your trade skills.
- Use basic and specialized construction tools (metal brake, circular saws, nail guns, hammers) to assist in structural framing and installations.
- Perform thorough site cleanup and debris disposal to maintain a professional and safe environment for our clients.
- Spend significant time working at heights, assisting with roof-level installations and weatherproofing.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
Qualifications:
- Strong physical stamina and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment for extended periods.
- Must be comfortable working outdoors in harsh or varying weather conditions.
- Ability to perform manual labour, including lifting heavy materials and climbing ladders.
- Ability to use a metal brake and understanding of construction tools
- Takes pride in craftsmanship
- Must have a valid Working at Heights (WAH) certification.
- A valid G Driver's license, and a mode of transportation to get to each site.
- You are honest, respectful toward colleagues and clients, and able to work effectively as part of a team or independently.
Assets (Not Required):
- Roofing experience, specifically metal roofing.
- General Carpentry experience
