We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Coding Tutor to join our educational team. Responsibilities
- Deliver interactive, hands-on coding lessons tailored to students’ skill levels and learning styles
- Promote active participation and understanding of programming concepts
- Provide personalized support to students, addressing questions and guiding problem-solving efforts
- Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, collaboration, and confidence
- Assess student progress regularly and offer constructive feedback to help them improve
Experience
- Prior classroom experience teaching coding, programming, or related technical subjects is highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of programming languages： Python, JavaScript, and Scratch
- Strong competitive programming background, with experience in the Canadian Computing Competition (CCC) at the Senior level or above
- Passion for education and empowering students through technology-driven learning
- Ability to adapt teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles and needs
Pay: $20.00-$40.00 per hour
Work Location: Hybrid remote in North York, ON M2N 5P8
