The successful candidate must be able to work from our Head Office at 101-9706 188 St. Surrey during office hours (M-F 8am-4pm). This role is expected to work an average of 24 hours a week and has a strong interest in Conservation and the Outdoors.
Duties and Responsibilities will include:
CORE (Conservation and Outdoor Recreation Education) Program Administration
- Respond to inquiries from CORE students, graduates and CORE Examiner requests for supplies, by phone and email, and assisting the CORE Program Coordinator with follow-ups as requested
- Process CORE payments and registrations
- Process and ship CORE manual orders and Examiner supplies
- Provide support to the CORE Program Coordinator with CORE related projects and initiatives
- CORE Inventory tracking, management and ordering
General Administration
- Data entry and Membership support
- Represent BCWF by attending tradeshows and outreach activities, as required
- Provide general administrative, operational, and backup support, as assigned
- Support other team members and assist with other projects/duties, as assigned, including covering the front desk for breaks and absences
Work Experience
- 3+ years’ Microsoft Office & Access experience
- Basic knowledge of Quickbooks is an asset.

- Must be a self-starter, capable of working well independently as well as within a dynamic, multi-faceted team environment.
- Must be able to keep strict confidentiality and sign an oath of confidentiality.
- Must be capable of lifting objects of up to 40lbs.
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and extended hours, when requested, to accommodate workshops and events of the Federation.
This is a part-time permanent position. This position will be 100% in-office. The office is conveniently located close to Hwy 1 and the Golden Ears Bridge. Bus stops are also nearby. Standard hours of work are Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. This position will also require travel throughout the province. Due to the nature of this position, the suitable candidate would be located within the Lower Mainland or moving to the Lower Mainland by the start date.
Pay: $21.00-$23.00 per hour
