Overview
We are seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining excellent customer service. Candidates should have a valid driver’s license and experience in commercial driving or heavy equipment operation.
Duties
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport freight and goods to designated locations.
- Load and unload freight using equipment such as forklifts when necessary.
- Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on schedule.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Maintain proper documentation for deliveries, including delivery receipts and logs.
- Assist with the operation of heavy equipment or forklifts as needed for freight handling.
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance or repairs when required, utilizing automotive repair skills.
- Follow all safety protocols and traffic laws during transportation activities.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to coordinate delivery schedules.
- Available to work weekends delivering garden products, soils, mulch, brick, patio pavers.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Experience in commercial driving, freight handling, or related fields preferred.
- Ability to operate forklifts, heavy equipment, or other machinery is a plus.
- Knowledge of automotive repair or maintenance is advantageous.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift heavy loads and perform physically demanding tasks regularly.
- Excellent communication skills and professional demeanor.

Pay: $18.50-$20.00 per hour
